Yema T70 SUV debuts in China on the Chengdu Auto Show
The Yema T70 SUV debuted earlier today on the 2014 Chengdu Auto Show. The Yema T60, formerly known as the Yema B60X, is a brand new compact SUV. Design is a curious mix combining influences from Volkswagen and Audi. Nevertheless, this is the best looking Yema ever.
Dash just neat enough but all a bit too black. Quality of the materials seems all right. The Yema T70 will be powered by a new 1.8 liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 131hp, mated to a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic, sending power to the front wheels. Yema is also working on a new 1.8 turbo with about 170hp. This engine will be mated to a CVT. Price will start around 80.000 yuan and end around 120.000 yuan.
Size: 4555/1835/1688, wheelbase is 2665.
The T70 is the biggest Yema-branded car so far. It is based on a new platform that will also spawn an MPV and various other SUV’s.
The grille is in Range Rover style with a newly designed Yema logo.
Very speedy lettering. The red thingy is an Y we guess.
Exhaust pipe is invisible. Skid pad for mountaineering.
