According to the agreement, the two entities are set to embark on an extensive collaboration in areas encompassing fast-charging technology, battery safety, and big data. Simultaneously, they will expand their operations abroad, aiming to capitalize on resource-sharing, complementing strengths, and jointly pioneering high-quality new energy vehicles. This strategic alliance will serve as a catalyst for battery technology innovation and global expansion.
In the fast-charging technology sphere, both parties will jointly propel the adoption of CATL's Shenxing Superfast Charging Battery in VOYAH-branded vehicles. They will also forge a deeper partnership in the realm of power battery fast-charging, aimed at enhancing VOYAH's battery performance and charging efficiency.
Turning to battery safety, VOYAH and CATL are poised to conduct in-depth collaborative R&D to create the batteries with "fortress-level" safety. This will be supported by an ongoing alignment in the field of big data to establish a comprehensive information network, ultimately enabling an all-encompassing ecosystem management cycle. Leveraging their early advantage in battery data, they intend to offer more personalized products and services tailored to market needs.
Regarding their international foray, VOYAH has already made successful inroads into overseas markets, with its presence established in countries like Norway, Finland, and Denmark. Concurrently, CATL has already established its overseas manufacturing facilities. In the future, the two entities plan to bolster their strategic presence on a global scale, offering consumers around the world a more convenient, secure, and intelligent choice for high-end new energy travel.
The ties between VOYAH and CATL run deep. As early as 2016, Dongfeng Motor and CATL signed their first strategic cooperation agreement in Wuhan. Subsequently, they have successively worked on volume production and application of multiple battery cell products tailored to market demands. The fruits of this collaboration have already found application across the entire range of VOYAH’s vehicles. With the signing of this latest cooperation agreement, both sides are set to strengthen their collaboration, jointly propelling the high-quality development of the new energy vehicle industry.
