Shanghai (ZXZC)- Chinese new energy vehicle maker NIO and auto parts supplier Baolong Automotive recently inked a strategic partnership agreement, according to a press release Baolong issued on its WeChat account on Monday.

This comprehensive collaboration covers a wide spectrum of areas, including air spring, air tank, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), wheel speed sensor, and optical rain sensor. Additionally, both parties will explore the cooperation in the realms of the speed, position, and angle-related sensor, current sensor, acceleration sensor, camera-based product, and radar products. They aim to jointly explore innovative opportunities in the fields of vehicle and environmental sensing.

Following the signing of this agreement, both parties are committed to enhancing their communication channels by establishing a platform for regular communications. This will ensure strategic alignment and the smooth execution of their collaborative efforts. The partnership is set to be deepened across four major dimensions: localization for NIO's automotive supply chain, reduced carbon footprint, enhanced digital transparency, and an expansion into the global market.
