NETA Auto introduces ‘Yunhe’ platform, puts NETA X compact SUV onto market
Shanghai (ZXZC)- On October 18, the NETA X, a fire new compact SUV model under Chinese new energy vehicle maker NETA Auto, hit the market with four trim levels offers, featuring a price range of 126,800 yuan to 146,800 yuan.

Notably, the automaker issued limited-time discounts for the model, reducing the price range to 108,800 yuan to 128,800 yuan.
The NETA X will compete head-on with the likes of the BYD Yuan PLUS and the AION Y Plus.
Notably, the model's right-hand drive version will be available for sale in major European markets, according to the carmaker.

In terms of its exterior, the NETA X presents a fresh front-end design, featuring a closed grille and split-type LED headlights. The vehicle offers a choice of six exterior colors, including white, gray, brown, pink, blue, and black.
The side profile boasts a relatively straight, sectional-type waistline and a low window line, not only enhancing the window size for improved visibility but also giving it a better visual appeal. Furthermore, the vehicle incorporates a hidden D-pillar design.

When it comes to its dimensions, the NETA X measures 4,619mm in length, 1,860mm in width, and 1,628mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,770mm.
The rear of the vehicle features intricate line design, complemented by continuous taillights, creating a multi-layered sense. The rear bumper is adorned with chrome accents, significantly elevating its sense of refinement.

Turning to the interior, the NETA X boasts a remarkable 80% coverage of leather upholstery. The overall layout is clean and uncluttered, with an 8.9-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch square screen contributing to the interior's tech-savvy ambiance. Additionally, the vehicle offers such niceties as wireless charging for mobile devices in the front row, rain-sensing wipers, and heated front seats.
Under the hood, the NETA X is equipped with a front-mounted single electric motor, delivering a total power output of 120kW. It achieves a top speed of 150km/h and offers a range of 401/ 501km under the CLTC test cycle.

Meanwhile, NETA Auto unveiled its intelligent pure electric vehicle platform designed for mainstream global consumers—the Yunhe platform, where the NETA X rides on. According to NETA Auto, this platform is characterized by its attributes of global adaptability, high efficiency, enhanced safety, and advanced intelligence. It supports a range of vehicle types, from A0 to B-segment cars, SUVs, and MPVs, with various drive configurations, including front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive. It's worth noting that, thanks to the Yunhe platform, the development time for the company's new vehicles has been reduced by eight months.

Furthermore, NETA Auto disclosed its international expansion strategy. In 2023, NETA Auto intends to establish a presence in 30 countries and regions worldwide, with a network comprising more than 100 sales and service outlets. By 2024, the automaker aims to achieve a global sales network covering 50 countries, establishing 500 overseas sales service points and targeting overseas sales of 100,000 vehicles. NETA Auto revealed that it will hold a global launch event in Paris, France.
