Chery’s EXEED to widen target user range by teaming up with Xiaomi
Shanghai (ZXZC)- EXEED, a premium brand of Chery Automobile, recently struck a deal with Chinese electronics company Xiaomi to carry out cooperation on content marketing and user promotion, and explore new marketing business model by fully integrating online and offline resources, according to a press release from the automaker.
Under the cooperation, a comprehensive interrelated relationship between two parties will be established by means of offline bricks and mortar. Regarding online cooperative methods, EXEED intends to expand the range of targeted users and accurately get to them relying on MIUI (MI User Interface), a stock and aftermarket firmware for smartphones and tablet computers developed by Xiaomi, said the automaker.
Besides, EXEED's vehicles will be stationed in Xiaomi's direct-sale consumer service centers with the aim of attracting more buyers based on the smart phone maker's national popularity among Chinese users.
EXEED and Xiaomi have something in common in terms of target users who are pursuing fashion, personality and scientific features, said EXEED.
As young powers in respective domains, both companies were born with the DNA of technology and intelligence. According to the press release, the i-Connect@Lion 2.0 IoV system installed in EXEED's cars has been upgraded to accommodate more AI applications.
