Maserati appoints Yu Hanbang as new General Manager for China

Beijing (ZXZC)- On September 25, Maserati, the luxury automotive brand, announced the appointment of Mr. Yu Hanbang as the new General Manager for Maserati China, effective immediately. In his new role, Mr. Yu will oversee the Trident brand's commercial operations across the Chinese market.

Maserati highlighted that China's rapidly evolving automotive industry reflects local consumers' unique preferences for luxury vehicles and innovative technologies. As a key component of Maserati’s global strategy, the importance of the Chinese market is undeniable.

Prior to his appointment at Maserati, Mr. Yu held significant leadership roles at several prestigious automotive companies, including Genesis China,

Maserati CEO Davide Grasso expressed confidence in Mr. Yu’s leadership, citing his deep understanding of the Chinese market and international experience. “His broad insights into the automotive industry and sharp business acumen make him the ideal choice to lead Maserati’s China operations. Under his guidance, the Trident brand will continue to strengthen its presence and pursue new growth milestones in China.”

Maserati officially entered the Chinese market in 2004. Its China headquarters, based in Shanghai, oversees sales, marketing, dealer network development, and aftersales support. Currently, Maserati operates 37 dealerships across the country.
