As part of their strategic plan, BAIC BJEV's premium intelligent electric vehicle brand, ARCFOX, will equip its models with CATL’s Shenxing ultra-fast charging batteries.
The partnership between BAIC BJEV and CATL can be dated back to 2009. Over the years, their collaboration has been deepened, encompassing battery supply, technology development, standards setting, and after-sales services. In 2019, they jointly introduced the CTP1.0 battery product to the world, and by 2022, CATL's first 2.2C fast-charging battery successfully landed in ARCFOX’s models.
The latest collaboration can be seen as an extension of their thirteen-year-long partnership.

Launched in August 16 this year, the Shenxing is claimed by CATL as the world's first 4C superfast charging LFP battery, capable of delivering a range of over 700 km on a single full charge. Its mass production is set to commence by the end of 2023.
In practical usage scenarios, the Shenxing battery offers remarkable advantages, said BAIC BJEV. First and foremost, its rapid charging capability significantly alleviates range anxiety for users. ARCFOX vehicles equipped with the Shenxing battery can achieve a 400-km range with just 10 minutes of charging, making recharging as swift as refueling.
Furthermore, the Shenxing battery is seamlessly integrated with ARCFOX's vehicle technology, enabling users to enjoy convenient winter driving, the automaker added. Even in the frigid cold of winter, it maintains fast charging speeds comparable to the commonly seen room temperature charging. In just 30 minutes, it can be charged to 80% of its capacity even in cold conditions, and the battery retains 0-100km/h acceleration performance without any decline.
