Patent Applied: facelift for the MG6 in China
MG has applied for patent on a facelift for the MG6. The drawings show the sedan version, and earlier on we saw the fastback on spy shots. The facelift includes a partly new grille with a larger MG logo, new headlights, a new front bumper, and new rear lights. The facelifted MG6 sedan will debut in September on the Chengdu Auto Show and launch on the Chinese car market in Q4.
The current MG6 sedan. Price starts at 127.800 yuan and ends at 189.800 yuan. Engines: 133hp 1.8 and a 160hp 1.8 turbo, both mated to a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic.
Engines and transmissions will continue in the facelifted MG6 and price will be about the same.
LED strips in the front bumper are new as well. Mirrors seem a bit bigger than before. New rear lights but no other obvious changes at the back.
Current.
