With this release, NIO has successfully transitioned its entire product lineup to the second-generation technology platform, namely, the NT 2.0.

Pre-orders for the All-New EC6 commenced on September 11, and customers who place a pre-order by paying a deposit of 5,000 yuan will receive an additional 10,000 NIO app-based credits. Deliveries for pre-orders are scheduled to begin on September 16, with priority given based on the order locking date.

In terms of design, the All-New EC6 adopts NIO's second-generation design language, emphasizing individuality and sportiness. Notable exterior features include the family's first split structure "Double Dash" daytime running lights, which add a touch of sportiness. Below, the vehicle is equipped with intelligent multi-beam headlights, supported by a roof-mounted laser radar, front cameras, and millimeter-wave radar, allowing the headlights to automatically detect road conditions and achieve precise beam distribution.

In terms of dimensions, the all-new EC6 measures 4,849mm in length, 1,995mm in width, and 1,697mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,915mm. The height is reduced by 34mm compared to the first-generation EC6, resulting in a lower and more streamlined profile. The vehicle's extended rear overhang creates a visually appealing short front and rear overhang effect, shifting the visual center of gravity rearward for a more harmonious and dynamic appearance.

The rear of the All-New EC6 features a sleek coupe-style design, with the roofline extending downward from the B-pillar to the rear of the vehicle, creating a cohesive and attractive overall look. Beyond its aesthetics, the All-New EC6 also comes with an active rear wing that enhances both the vehicle's visual sportiness and its aerodynamic performance. The active rear wing offers four modes: closed, low drag, high-speed, and automatic, with opening angles of 23° for the low drag and 31.5° for the high speed.

Inside, the changes are not remarkable, primarily focused on updated and revised color options. The vehicle offers three exclusive interior color schemes: Danxia Red, Chenhu Blue, and Boteng Purple.

In terms of powertrain, the All-New EC6 will feature a dual-motor, four-wheel-drive system, with the front motor being a coaxial induction electric drive motor with a high power output of 150 kW, and the rear motor being a permanent magnet synchronous electric drive motor with a maximum power output of 210 kW.

NIO has also developed the ICC intelligent chassis control system, offering various chassis configurations, including three steering modes, five acceleration modes, three suspension stiffness levels, three energy recovery modes, and two energy-saving modes.

The vehicle provides five basic driving modes (Sport+, Sport, Comfort, Eco, and Custom) and four scene modes (towing, snow, sand, and wetland). Additionally, it enjoys a power service network enabled by chargeable, swappable and upgradable batteries. Under the CLTC test cycle, the new model features a range of 495 km with the standard-range battery pack (75kWh) and 630 km with the long-range battery pack (100 kWh).
