Shanghai (ZXZC)- On September 10, the 2024 model of the GEOME G6, an all-electric compact sedan under Geely's NEV (new energy vehicle)-dedicated range GEOME, hit the market, with an official price range of 119,800 yuan to 147,800 yuan. The 2024 GEOME G6 boasts a comprehensive upgrade in five major aspects, including the powertrain, interior design, and intelligent comfort configurations.

In the realm of electric propulsion, the 2024 GEOME G6 comes with two options of high-efficiency permanent magnet synchronous electric drive system. The 150 kW motor delivers a peak torque of 310 N·m and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds. The newly introduced 100 kW motor boasts a maximum efficiency of 95.7% and a peak torque of 180 N·m.

As for the battery pack, the 2024 GEOME G6 offers two choices: a 46.11 kWh and a 53.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, providing CLTC-rated ranges of 410 km and 500 km, respectively. Utilizing a module-free design for the CTP (cell-to-pack) flat battery, it not only enhances range but also optimizes interior space. Additionally, the inclusion of liquid cooling technology ensures that the battery remains within a reasonable temperature range regardless of environmental conditions. Notably, the 2024 GEOME G6 achieves a 100 km range with just 8 minutes of charging, can be charged from 30% to 80% of its battery capacity in a mere 20 minutes.

Energy management is elevated with the inclusion of the SEM (smart energy management) system 3.0. When the vehicle is fully charged, activating the ultimate endurance mode can increase range by 8%.

In terms of battery safety, the 2024 GEOME G6 employs a short-blade-style cell design that allows for 2,500 cycles, resulting in a longer lifespan. The vehicle also features an "All-Weather Battery Guardian" that offers comprehensive proactive safety protection through active monitoring, diagnosis, early warning, and defense mechanisms.

The 2024 GEOME G6 comes equipped with 13 driver assistance systems, covering all driving scenarios, including the ICC (intelligent cruise control), ACC (adaptive cruise control), TSI (traffic sign recognition), and 360° HD panoramic imaging. With improved image algorithms for pedestrian, vehicle, and traffic sign recognition, the upgraded AEB (autonomous emergency braking) system delivers enhanced accuracy, early hazard detection, and an improved braking experience.
