Shanghai (ZXZC)- Audi is ready to roll out 8 new models into China's market in the second half of 2019, including the e-tron all-electric SUV, the Q8 crossover SUV coupe, the Q2L e-tron, the all-new A4 Avant, the all-new A6 Avant, the all-new A6 Allroad, the all-new S6 and the all-new S7, according to a local media outlet who got the source from a slideshow about Audi China's product launching plan.

The Audi e-tron and the Audi Q8 are set to go on sale in the third quarter of the year.

The automaker has already started accepting orders of the Audi e-tron with presale prices ranging between RMB700,000 and RMB830,000. Based on Volkswagen Group’s MLP (Modular Longitudinal Platform), the e-tron will be offered in four variants.

Two electric motors at the front and rear axles mobilize 300kW of system power and 664N·m of peak torque in the all-electric model. Under the Boost mode, it accelerates from zero to 100km/h within in just 5.5 seconds.

Powered by a 95kWh ternary-lithium battery pack, the e-tron boasts a range of over 400km (WLTP). In about half an hour, the vehicle can be recharged to 80% of its battery capacity via a fast charging system with 150kW (DC).

The Audi Q8 celebrated its world premiere at the Audi Brand Summit 2018 in Shenzhen.

The flagship SUV measures 4,986mm long, 1,995mm wide and 1,705mm tall with a wheelbase spanning 2,987mm.

The vehicle is powered by a 2.0-litre or a 3.0-litre turbocharged engine—the latter is able to pump out 250kW and peak torque of 500N·m—paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Besides, the Quattro all-wheel drive will be added as standard equipment.

The all-new Audi A6 Avant measures 4,940mm long, 1,890mm wide and 1,470mm tall, compared with 4,947mm/1,874mm/1,459mm for the existing model. Wheelbase for the new model spans 2,924mm, a bit longer than that of the outgoing A6 Avant.

Under the hood, there is a 2.0-litre or a 3.0-litre turbocharged engine assisted by a 12-volt or a 48-volt mild hybrid system producing a combine 165kW/350N·m or 250kW/500N·m respectively.

Mated to the engine is a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
