BYD SEAL hits Columbian market

The BYD SEAL is crafted on the BYD e-platform 3.0 and holds the distinction of being the world's first production vehicle featuring CTB battery integration within its chassis, according to the automaker's introduction. Its range extends up to 520 kilometers based on the WLTC standard, ensuring a substantial driving distance on a single charge.

The design philosophy of the BYD SEAL, known as "Oceanic Aesthetics," builds upon the essence of the Ocean X concept car, exhibiting its sporty DNA with a low-slung body stance. The SEAL's 650km All-Wheel-Drive Performance version accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in a remarkable 3.8 seconds, thanks to the inclusion of the iTAC Intelligent Torque Control system. This not only enhances safety but also significantly elevates the vehicle's handling characteristics, promising an exhilarating driving experience for users.

Since 2020, BYD has joined forces with Motorysa to continuously enrich its local lineup of new energy vehicles and expand its dealership network. Currently, BYD's new energy passenger vehicles have established a presence in four major Colombian cities: Bogotá, Medellin, Cali, and Pereira, with a total of seven showrooms. Another five showrooms are expected to be added by the end of this year in the country.
