The new Lifan X50 debuted on the 2014 Beijing Auto Show, looking very smooth in white but the interior was sadly hidden by very black windows. The Lifan X5 is a new small-size crossover-SUV that will launched on the China car market in the second half of this year, positioned below the Lifan X60.

The Lifan X50 is based on the same platform as the upcoming Lifan 530 sedan. Power:  a 93hp 1.3 or a 102hp 1.5, both mated to a five-speed manual or a CVT. Price of the Lifan X50 will start around 60.000 yuan and end around 90.000 yuan, battling in one of the most competitive segments of the Chinese auto market.

Size: 4100/1722/1540mm, wheelbase is 2550mm.

Roof rack absolutely necessary for a crossover on the Chinese auto market, without one nobody will buy. Chromed door handles don’t really match with the black crossover theme, but otherwise a fine looking little car.

Shiny main grille, black secondary grille, and a matte chrome skid pad. The X50 is ready for everything.
