The lead ship-off of the AION Y Plus model, a tailor-made right-hand-drive overseas edition for the Thai market, has already obtained certification from Thailand's Department of Land Transport (DLT). As a sought-after battery electric vehicle (BEV) model in China, the AION Y series, renowned for its spaciousness and impressive range promises to offer Thai consumers a fresh driving experience.

Back in June this year, GAC AION inked a collaboration memorandum with its first Thai dealership, thus heralding its entry into the Thai market.

Within this year, GAC AION will establish its Southeast Asian headquarters in Thailand, with preparations for local production already in full swing. The Chinese carmaker said it will remain steadfast in its commitment to becoming a global leader and trusted creator of green and intelligent mobility value in the future.
