Shanghai (ZXZC)- In a tech-infused showcase on August 21st, NETA Auto, the new energy vehicle maker under HOZON Auto, unveiled its visionary "Haozhi Strategy 2025," spotlighting a technology platform labeled "Haozhi Technology Brand 2.0."

This landmark event also marked the debut of five innovative technologies: the Haozhi Supercomputing, the Haozhi Skateboard Chassis, the Haozhi Electric Drive, the Haozhi Range Extender, and the Haozhi Thermal Control.

The quintet of the Haozhi Technology Brand 2.0 innovations is tailored to synergize seamlessly with NETA Auto's vehicle lineup, offering continuous empowerment to models such as the NETA S, the NETA GT, the NETA U, the NETA AYA, and upcoming series vehicles.

The Haozhi Supercomputing solution spearheads the collection. Crafted on the foundation of the Shanhai platform's evolvable electronical/electronic architecture, this array of controllers functions as the vehicle's intellectual hub, supporting the surge in intelligent automotive software volume.

The company said the Haozhi Supercomputing solution introduces an industry-first fusion of gateway domain control, amalgamating seven core system functionalities including intelligent gateway, power control, energy management, and intelligent diagnostics. Furthermore, the development of the Haozhi Fusion Central Domain Control product advances the integration and centralized computational processing capabilities of ten core functionalities for the entire vehicle, encompassing high-speed navigation, memory parking, urban navigation, intelligent gateway, power energy management, and more. Additionally, the Haozhi Central Brain will incorporate an immensely potent AI processing unit with 1000+ TOPS computing power, alongside a maximum 1TB vehicle-grade shared storage. Coupled with regional controllers, it will offer over 500 SOA service interfaces, making electric vehicles more intelligent. Users will have the freedom to personally define and design customized vehicle functionalities, engage in all-scenario subscriptions, and through upgrades, relish the latest features and performance enhancements.

Stepping onto the stage as the second technology marvel, the Haozhi Skateboard Chassis serves as a global platform architecture adaptable to various vehicle models. Through the decoupling of hardware and software development between upper and lower vehicle bodies, it achieves a remarkable 20-fold increase in production efficiency, a 50% reduction in production site requirements, and a 30% reduction in R&D cycles. Moreover, it is integrated with the Haozhi Supercomputing platform, asynchronous AC and permanent magnet synchronous SiC electric drive systems, CTC technology, and a design that merges the battery energy compartment with the body structure through integrated die-casting processes and aluminum alloy profiles. This integration results in enhanced universality, higher load capacity, nano-level precision in installation, and increased rigidity, consequently significantly boosting automobile performance, reliability, production efficiency, and site utilization.

The Haozhi Electric Drive, the third addition, emerges as NETA-branded vehicles' "heart" and robust "muscle," furnishing NETA Auto's vehicle lineup with sheer prowess. Comprising the 180kW 400V electric drive system and 250kW 800V high-voltage SiC electric drive system, it amplifies power, range, driving comfort, system reliability, and user-friendly charging, ensuring an enhanced driving experience devoid of charging anxieties. The distinctive tripartite design incorporates the integration of the motor, reducer, and controller, while the implementation of a novel slot-in oil-cooled flat-wire motor, gear with high-strength wheel-spoke structure, and spatial vector control algorithm underpins the reliability and compactness of the system structure. Furthermore, its 400V and 800V dual-platform design empowers users with 200 km of range within a 5-minute charge, harmoniously supporting both residential and public charging infrastructure.

Debuting as the fourth innovation, the Haozhi Range Extender shines with four features: high efficiency, quiet operation, seamless integration, and advanced intelligence. As an example of its efficiency, it employs a specialized Atkinson engine tailored for high efficiency range extension, achieving a fuel-to-electric conversion rate of up to 3.26 kWh/L. In terms of hushed operation and seamless integration, the Haozhi Range Extender incorporates a small clearance design in its crankshaft system, boasting a directly connected generator and engine, and an integrated flywheel rotor design. This meticulous engineering significantly enhances the NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) performance while substantially reducing both the volume and weight. Additionally, the Haozhi Range Extender is engineered to minimize gear transmission noise, with a quiet effect measuring only 78.9 decibels at 2,500 rpm. Coupled with cutting-edge intelligent algorithms and an ongoing development of power generation control strategies for human-vehicle-road scenarios, it unlocks a higher echelon of intelligence. This translates to fuel and cost savings, effortless driving, and uncompromised comfort and range.

The curtain rises on the fifth innovation, the Haozhi Thermal Control, which enables user-controlled heating even during winter while ensuring extended range. The heat pump air conditioning technology demonstrates low energy consumption, wide temperature adaptation, and high integration, effectively increasing winter range by up to 20% with heating consumption below 800W. This addresses the significant challenge of electric vehicle range reduction in cold climates. Notably, the thermal control system can operate in temperatures as low as -35°C, with the heat pump mode functioning even at -20°C.

To expedite the conversion and mass production of core innovations from the Haozhi Technology Brand 2.0, NETA Auto has established a component company, named Haozhi Technology. The corporation is dedicated to complete industry chain development and industrial clustering, driven by the aforementioned five technology products. The first phase of Haozhi Technology's digital production lines have already featured an annual production capacity of 100,000 sets of domain controllers, 150,000 sets of range extender assemblies, 150,000 sets of electric drive assemblies, 150,000 sets of electronic control systems, and 300,000 sets of thermal management systems.

DAI Dali, CTO of NETA Auto, emphasized that Haozhi Technology’s smart factory, set to commence production in September, will follow the "self-research and self-manufacture + open collaboration" dual-mode strategy.
