NETA Auto announces foray into Indonesian market

Shanghai (ZXZC)- NETA Auto, the new energy vehicle (NEV) maker under HOZON auto, on August 10 announced its foray into the Indonesian market with its three models, namely, the NETA S, the NETA U-II, and the NETA V, making their debut at the GIIAS (GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show) 2023.

To offer high-quality electric vehicles in Indonesia, PT NETA Auto Indonesia on July 26 signed an MoU (memorandum of understanding) with a local partner, PT Handal Indonesia Motor (HIM) on assembling vehicles in CKD form from the second quarter of 2024.

Besides, to speed up its global business expansion, NETA Auto officially made its debut in Jordan on June 8, launching and delivering its NETA U and NETA V models in the country.

The company revealed that the NETA GT sports car would also soon be available in the Jordanian market.

In the meantime, NETA Auto has initiated a partnership with Jordan's car distributor Tahboub Automotive. The partnership agreement, which has just been signed, will boost the do's collaborations in vehicle sales and after-sales services.

Circling back to 2022, NETA Auto embarked on its ambitious strategy of "landing in ASEAN, expanding into EU", marking its first step towards international expansion, or its "year of going abroad". Within just over a year, NETA has successfully established its European business division and a factory in Thailand. Its overseas footprint spans ASEAN, South America, and the Middle East markets, showcasing its rapid development.
