The Emgrand EC9 is the production version of the Geely Emgrand KC Concept that debuted on the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show. The production version will debut on the Beijing Auto Show in April and it will be launched on the China car market in the first half of the year. The mad grille made it to production unchanged and that is a daring move.

The Geely Emgrand EC9 will be powered by 2.0 and 2.4 liter four-cylinder petrol engines, mated to a 5-speed manual or a six-speed automatic. Price will start somewhere around 135.000 yuan.
