GAC AION sells over 45,000 vehicles in July 2023
Shanghai (ZXZC)- GAC AION, the new energy vehicle subsidiary of GAC Group, announced on Tuesday it achieved impressive sales figures in July, with a total of 45,025 vehicles sold, marking an 80% year-on-year increase.
Moreover, the cumulative sales from January to July of this year amounted to 254,361 vehicles, showing a remarkable year-on-year surge of 103%.
Compared to the previous month, GAC AION's July sales remained flat.

Last month, GAC AION put two new products onto the market, including the first production model of the Hyper brand, the Hyper GT, and the AION Y Younger Xingyao Edition.
The GAC AION Hyper GT mid-sized sedan comes with five trim levels with a price range of 219,900 to 339,900 yuan. The Hyper GT was crafted on the AEP3.0 BEV (battery electric vehicle)-dedicated platform and the new high-end electronic and electric architecture known as “Xingling”.
Speaking of the intelligent systems aboard the Hyper GT, the car uses the ADiGO 5.0 intelligent OS with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 cockpit chip. The model also comes with the advanced ADiGO Pilot, which is a high-level autonomous driving assistant equipped with three second-generation laser radars, space-grade infrared remote sensing cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars throughout the vehicle, and ten cameras, enhancing features such as lane recognition and change detection.
GAC AION announced that it sold 2011 Hyper GTs last month.
Additionally, the GAC AION Y Younger Xingyao Edition is positioned as a compact SUV with a price tag of 126,800 yuan.
