Beijing (ZXZC)- Leapmotor, the Chinese new energy vehicle startup, has made further moves to attract customers by announcing price reductions for some of its C-series models on August 1. 

The price adjustments apply to two C11 models and three C01 models, with the C01 models receiving the highest price cut of up to 20,000 yuan.

After the price adjustments, the Leapmotor C11 650 Zhixiang Edition, originally priced at 199,800 yuan, saw its price reduced to 189,800 yuan, representing a 10,000 yuan decrease. The C11 580 4WD Performance Edition, previously priced at 219,800 yuan, is now available for 209,800 yuan, a reduction of 10,000 yuan.

As for the C01 models, the C01 606 Zhixiang Edition's original price of 189,800 yuan as lowered to 173,800 yuan, with a price cut of 16,000 yuan. The C01 717 Zhixiang Edition, previously priced at 216,800 yuan, now costs 196,800 yuan, seeing a reduction of 20,000 yuan. The C01 630 4WD Performance Edition, originally priced at 228,800 yuan, now comes with a price tag of 208,800 yuan, a decrease of 20,000 yuan.

It is worth noting that the adjusted prices apply to the higher-spec versions of both the C11 and the C01 models. The C-series has become Leapmotor's main product line, accounting for over 82.71% of the company’s total deliveries in July, with a total of more than 12,000 units delivered.

Leapmotor's sales have been steadily increasing, with cumulative sales of 58,837 vehicles in the first seven months of this year. However, the company's ambitious goal of selling 200,000 to 300,000 vehicles in 2023 remains challenging, as it has achieved only 29.42% of the minimum target of 200,000 units so far.
