Shanghai (ZXZC)- On July 25, the ceremony for the export of the first batch of Geely RADAR brand’s overseas model was held at the smart factory in Zibo city, Shandong province, the automaker announced via its WeChat account.

According to the official images released by Geely, the exported model is the RADAR RD6, which has already been introduced to the domestic market. However, Geely has yet to disclose the specific destination of this export.

The first mass-produced RADAR RD6 all-electric pickup rolled off the assembly line at the Zibo factory in September 2022. The model boasts a dual-screen setup composed of a 12.3-inch floating instrument panel and a 12.3-inch console-mounted display, as well as a 9-inch full-color HUD. The Galaxy OS intelligent connected system it carries supports OTA (over-the-air) upgrades and various smart function settings.

In terms of range, the RADAR RD6 is paired with an 11kW high-power AC home charger, which takes only 7 hours to charge from 20% to full capacity. In fast-charging mode, the RD6 can achieve a range of 100km in just 10 minutes and be charged from 30% to 80% of its capacity in just 30 minutes.

Furthermore, the RADAR RD6 utilizes the M.A.P platform to create an innovative e-power system for outdoor use, which can be adapted to single or dual-motor drives, with a maximum power of 400 kW and a peak torque of 768 N·m. Products built on this platform can achieve a 0-100km/h acceleration in under 4 seconds. Additionally, it can accommodate a battery pack with up to 140kW of capacity, providing a range of over 800 km. The RD6 has a payload capacity of 800kg and a towing capacity of up to 3,000kg.

Regarding this overseas export, Geely expressed its intent to collaborate with local dealers and automotive groups to swiftly expand the brand image and market presence of RADAR in the foreign market. As the internationalization process accelerates, the brand will continuously broaden its overseas new energy product lineup.

Geely is also committed to establishing a comprehensive service system and supporting measures for new energy vehicles overseas, catering to the diverse needs of users in different countries and regions.

Currently, the RADAR RD6 is priced in the domestic market, starting from 145,800 yuan for the Chuangye Edition, 198,800 yuan for the Chuangke Edition, 228,800 yuan for the Yuexiang Edition, and 268,800 yuan for the Yueye Edition.
