Jeep Wrangler Dragon Limited Edition launched on the China car market
The Jeep Wrangler Dragon Edition has been launched on the China car market, priced at 568.800 yuan or 93.600 USD. The Jeep Wrangler Dragon Limited Edition comes with a lotta gold and a lotta dragons. The meanest dragon sits under the bonnet and there are other dragons on the bonnet, on the doors, on the spare wheel, and inside. The grille and alloys are in gold as well.
Sales of the Wrangler Dragon Limited Edition are going a bit slow. The Dragon Limited Edition is limited to 999 cars, which is a lot anyway for a limited edition. Chinese media say, in a kinda mean way, that only 19 cars have been sold with another 980 available.
Dragon on doors barely visible.
Gold on the steering wheel, gold rims around the dials, a dragon on the passenger-handle bar, gold on the floor mats.
Limited Edition plaque.
Dragon on the head rest.
The ancient character for dragon.
Dragon on the spare wheel.
Dragon on bonnet is barely visible. Jeep logo in gold. Power is untouched, with is a shame, since dragons are rather powerful animals. The 3.6 liter V6 poops out 284hp and 374nm, and that is the only engine available. The base Wrangler with the same engine costs 449.900 yuan, or 74.000 USD.
That is almost 20.000 USD more for a few dragons and some gold. This is going to be a hard sell, even in China…
