The official prices of the three models were announced at the same time, marking the start of a new chapter for BYD’s business expansion in Morocco.
The event was preceded by a communication meeting and test drive activity for local media on July 12th, generating anticipation for BYD's entry into the Moroccan passenger car market.
In November of last year, BYD announced its collaboration with Auto Nejma, a leading dealer group in Morocco under the Hakam Family Group, to provide highly regarded new energy passenger vehicles to the Moroccan market. Leveraging Auto Nejma's extensive presence and local advantages, the two parties are jointly committed to promoting the adoption of electric vehicles and supporting Morocco's green transportation transformation.
“The choice of joining forces with BYD was dictated by the quality and reliability of its models, but also by the availability of spare parts and the expertise needed by our technical and sales teams to respond effectively to the expectations of Moroccan customers”, said Adil Bennani, CEO of Auto Nejma. “We are confident that BYD's innovative electric vehicle models, combined with our extensive distribution network, will contribute significantly to the development of the electric vehicle market in Morocco.”
In the future, BYD and Auto Nejma will work together to establish a localized sales and service system, providing local customers with an enhanced consumer experience and further contributing to Morocco's journey towards a greener future.
