The Lifan 720 sedan is now available with a new 1.5 liter four cylinder engine. The Lifan 1.5 has been launched on the China car market. Price starts at 62.800 yuan and ends at 65.800 yuan. The engine has an output of 109hp and 146nm, and is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The Lifan 720 debuted almost exactly a year ago. Until now it was only available with a 1.8 with 128hp and 159nm, mated to the same 5-speed manual. Lifan is still working on an automatic which will help sales considerably. Cheap sedans is this segment of the market are often bought by first-car buyers who don’t want a manual gearbox.

Interior the same as in 720 1.8. Cheap materials but big screen, and floor mats look very cozy.
