Chery Resources, JCNE team up on retired power battery recycling
Shanghai (ZXZC)- On July 2, Shenzhen Jiecheng Nickel-Cobalt New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (“JCNE”) and Wuhu Chery Resources Technology Co., Ltd. (“Chery Resources”), a subsidiary of Chery Holding, forged a strategic partnership, according to a post on JCNE’s WeChat account.
Chery Resources is devoted to the circular development of the power battery industry chain for new energy vehicles. Acting as a vital cog in the wheel of Chery's green new energy circular economy, it aims to bolster Chery Holdings Group's endeavor to offer a greener, smarter, and better travel experience for users worldwide.

Pursuant to the agreement, the alliance is firmly grounded in the principles of "resource sharing, complementary advantages, mutual benefit, and joint development." With a focus on priority areas such as the construction of retired power battery recycling systems, the green development of the circular economy, and joint technological innovation, the collaboration endeavors to develop an all-round partnership, which aims to leverage the technical and scale advantages of both parties in their respective fields. The collaborative efforts extend towards promoting the reasonable disposal of Chery's retired power batteries, exploring green, low-carbon development, and probing new opportunities in the circular economy.
In expressing his perspective on the alliance, Zheng Weipeng, the Chairman of JCNE, shared that both Chery Resources and JCNE have common objectives and shared social responsibilities. He conveyed his anticipation for the partnership to work hand in hand in constructing recycling networks, researching technology, and translating scientific and technological accomplishments into practice.
