In terms of raw materials, the proportion of cobalt in the high-voltage battery cathode material of the pure electric BMW i4 eDrive35 has been reduced to below 10%, and the drive unit uses excitation synchronous motors to reduce reliance on rare metal resources. The use of recycled aluminum is also increasing, reducing environmental burdens. Renewable energy is used in vehicle production, and systematic measures such as energy efficiency, water resource management, waste management, and recycling are implemented to create a green production benchmark. After the power batteries are retired, they can be reused or closed-loop recycled.
