As BYD's appointed regional distributor, ATL Automotive will handle sales and aftersales operations in Jamaica. Additionally, ATL will assume a management role across nine other countries, including Trinidad and Tobago, Cayman, Curaçao, Barbados, Aruba, Antigua, Saint Lucia, Guyana, and Suriname.

The collaborative plan between BYD and ATL includes the establishment of BYD showrooms. Initially, two showrooms will be opened in Jamaica, specifically in Kingston and Montego Bay. The Kingston showroom, serving as an "Experience Centre," will showcase upcoming BYD models and technologies.

Neva Zhang, Country Manager of Caribbean and Central American Countries at BYD, stated, "It is the right decision to reach a strategic cooperation with ATL Automotive Group. In the coming year, together with ATL, we will establish 10 showrooms and offer better user experiences, promoting sustainable mobility in the region."

To date, BYD has sold over 4,300,000 new energy vehicles globally. In the future, BYD will continue to work with its partners in the Caribbean to build a local sales and service system, providing a better mobility experience to the customers and fostering sustainable development in the region.
