SERES delivers first SERES 5 electric vehicles to European customers in Norway

Beijing (ZXZC)- Chinese automaker SERES Group on June 21 delivered the first batch of the SERES 5 electric vehicles to Europe. The delivery ceremony took place in Mount Fløyen, Bergen, Norway.

Notably, SERES 5's first owner in Norway was the renowned rallycross driver Andreas Bakkerud, who is also the brand ambassador of SERES in Norway. Having won consecutive championships in the FIA European Rally Championship for two years, Andreas expressed his excitement about the exceptional performance of the SERES 5. He highlighted its impressive acceleration capabilities, with the ability to accelerate 20 times consecutively in "track" mode without significant power loss.

The SERES 5 is equipped with a front asynchronous AC motor and a rear permanent magnet synchronous motor, delivering a combined power output of 430 kW and achieving a 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 3.7 seconds. The chassis incorporates extensive use of aluminum alloy material, coupled with a front double-wishbone and rear multi-link independent suspension system, ensuring excellent driving stability and a handling experience. 

Additionally, the SERES 5 offers both pure electric and extended-range models, with a respective comprehensive WLTP range of 500km (two-wheel-drive pure electric variant), 530km (four-wheel-drive pure electric variant), and over 1,000km (extended-range variant).

The delivery of the first batch of the SERES 5 electric vehicles in Europe followed the SERES Group's European tour, which kicked off on June 17.
