Volkswagen launches four new variants of the Volkswagen Lavida in China

The Volkswagen Lavida is already the best-selling car in China, but Volkswagen still wants much more, and launched four new variants of the Volkswagen Lavida in one haul. The variants are the Volkswagen Lavida Sport, the Volkswagen Gran Lavida Sport, the Volkswagen Lavida Blue Motion and the Volkswagen Cross Lavida.

The Lavida Sport is a sporty variant of the the Volkswagen Lavida sedan. It comes with sporty bumpers, sporty alloys, sporty seats, and a miniscule wing at the back. Engines are unchanged: 130hp 1.4 turbo and a 104hp 1.6. Price for the Lavida Sport starts at 151.900 yuan and ends at 165.900 yuan.

The Gran Lavida Sport is a sporty variant of the Volkswagen Gran Lavida hatchback-wagon. It comes with sporty bumper, sporty alloys, and sporty seats. Engines are unchanged: 130hp 1.4 turbo and a 104hp 1.6. Price for the Lavida Sport starts at 148.900 yuan and ends at 158.900 yuan.

The Volkswagen Lavida Blue Motion is a greeny variant of the Volkswagen Lavida sedan. See backdrop. This car will save the North Pole. The Volkswagen Lavida Blue Motion comes with a start-stop system, a brake-energy system, better aerodynamics, and low rolling resistance tires. Lone engine is the 130hp 1.4 turbo. Price is 149.900 yuan.

The last new Lavida is the Volkswagen Cross Lavida, a crossy variant of the Volkswagen Gran Lavida. The Cross Lavida comes with half-black bumpers, black plastic around the wheel arches, skid plates, alu-look side skirts, special alloys, and a roof rack. Engines are unchanged: 130hp 1.4 turbo and a 104hp 1.6. Price for the Cross Lavida starts at 157.900 yuan and ends at 168.900 yuan.

Price for the standard Lavida sedan starts at 112.900 yuan and ends at 166.900 yuan. Price for the standard Gran Lavida starts at 115.900 yuan and ends at 163.900 yuan. A quick study of the new variants proves that the 1.6 versions are much more expensive than their standard variants, while the price difference for the 1.4 turbo versions is much smaller.
