Geely-backed ZEEKR posts increase in registered capital
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Zhejiang Zeekr Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "ZEEKR Auto"), the entity behind Geely Auto’s premium electric vehicle brand ZEEKR, recently underwent a business change, with its registered capital increasing from 9 billion yuan to 10.5 billion yuan, representing a growth of 16.7%, according to the Chinese corporate information inquiry platform Tianyancha.
This is not the first time ZEEKR Auto has increased its registered capital this year. In Apr., its registered capital rose from 5 billion yuan to 9 billion yuan, marking an 80% increase.

ZEEKR Auto was incorporated in July 2021, with An Conghui as the legal representative and general manager, and Li Shufu as the chairman. It is fully owned by Zeekr Technology Limited.
ZEEKR Auto has shown remarkable performance in the new energy vehicle (NEV) market. In 2022, its first year of deliveries, it delivered a total of 71,941 vehicles. For the first five months of this year, ZEEKR delivered a total of 32,013 vehicles, representing a 118% year-on-year spike.
As of May 2023, the premium EV brand has delivered 109,961 vehicles cumulatively.
ZEEKR has already launched three production models. The automaker said the average order value of the ZEEKR 001 and the ZEEKR 009 reaches 336,000 yuan and 527,000 yuan, respectively. The third product, the ZEEKR X compact SUV, hit the market in April with three trim levels offered, and its delivery commenced on June 12.
