In Jan. 2022, NETA Auto achieved a historic milestone by reaching the production volume from its first vehicle to the landmark 100,000th unit. Then the company accomplished the leap from 100,000 units to 300,000 units in just 16 months.

The last move came a few days after NETA Auto inaugurated its global headquarters, which is located in Putuo District of Shanghai.

In addition to serving as the central hub for strategic planning, resource allocation, decision-making, coordination, and guidance of the company's global operations, NETA Auto's global headquarters also encompasses four key functions, namely, the flagship experience center, the intelligent R&D center, the data center, and the service center.

In 2022, Nezha Auto achieved a remarkable feat, as its annual sales volume reached an impressive 152,073 vehicles, securing the top position among Chinese NEV startups. Following closely behind were Li Auto with 133,246 vehicles sold throughout the year, and NIO with a total sales figure of 122,486 vehicles.

In early May this year, NETA Auto made its debut at Malaysia's largest auto show, announcing its official foray into the country’s auto market. It made NETA Auto the first Chinese NEV startup to tap the Malaysian market.

Since the beginning of its global expansion in 2022, NETA Auto has achieved many milestones in its globalization development strategy. Currently, it has established European Business Unit and Thai subsidiary. It has already broken ground on its first overseas factory in Thailand, which will become the startup's main manufacturing base for right-hand drive electric vehicles and exports to the ASEAN region.
