Li Auto so far deploys 25 supercharging stations in China

Shanghai (ZXZC)- Li Auto announced on May 29 via its WeChat account that it has deployed 25 own-brand supercharging stations nationwide, and had access to over 534,000 third-party charging piles.

The company said it will continue to accelerate the construction of infrastructure networks to provide convenient and worry-free charging experiences.

Each Li Auto supercharging station is equipped with three 250 kW 2C fast charging piles and one 480 kW 4C ultra-fast charging pile.

At the Auto Shanghai 2023, Li Auto said it planned to commence trial operation of the first 25 supercharging stations by the end of May and would open them to all electric vehicle owners.

Meanwhile, the company also introduced its 800-volt fast charging solution, which allows its battery electric vehicles (BEVs) to achieve a driving range of 400 kilometers with just a 10-minute charge.

By simultaneously advancing their extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs) and high-power charging (HPC) BEVs, the company is embarking on a new chapter. Its goal is to establish a diverse model portfolio consisting of one super flagship vehicle, five EREVs, and five HPC BEVs by 2025. The BEV solution offered by Li Auto incorporates an 800-volt electric drive system utilizing the third-generation silicon carbide power modules, batteries with 4C charging capabilities, a thermal management system designed to function across a wide temperature range, and a fast charging network.

Li Auto endeavors to build over 300 fast charging stations along highways by the end of 2023, covering four major economic zones including the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Yangtze River Delta region, the Great Bay Area, and the Chengdu-Chongqing region.

By 2025, the company aims to build more than 3,000 charging stations across China, which would cover 90% of the country's major cities and highways.
