JAC Group's 'EV 3' electric compact car starts presale
Beijing (ZXZC)- JAC Group started pre-sale for its intelligent electric vehicle, the EV 3 ("Yiwei 3" in Chinese Pinyin), on May 20. The new pure-electric model, which is the first production model under JAC’s Yiwei brand, starts at 97,900 yuan.

The EV 3 is built on the DI platform, and is equipped with the world's first 9-in-1 electric drive system and a zero-heat-diffusion honeycomb battery, forming an exceptionally powerful powertrain. Currently, the EV 3 offers two versions with a respective range of 405 km and 505 km, and comes in six different configurations.
The EV 3’s 9-in-1 electric drive system delivers a maximum power of 100 kW and a top driving speed of 150 km/h, while leading the industry in terms of NVH performance.
In terms of intelligent driving assistance, the EV 3 adopts a fusion solution, equipped with three millimeter-wave radars, five cameras, and twelve ultrasonic radars, coupled with an L2 intelligent driving assistance system that comprehensively ensures driving safety. The 540° transparent chassis enables a full perception of the vehicle's surroundings, promptly identifying potential road hazards.
In addition to a wealth of intelligent features, the EV 3 incorporates the customized Yiwei OS developed in collaboration with iFlytek and Huawei, ensuring that user needs at met on every level.

Furthermore, the EV 3 boasts a four-zone intelligent voice system typically found in luxury vehicles priced at 300,000 yuan and above. Users can activate "Xiao Yi" (Little Yi) from any position within the car.
According to JAC Group, the EV 3 is now available in stores, allowing consumers to experience and make purchases at any time. In the second half of this year, an extended 600 km range version of the EV 3 will be introduced to the market, providing users with more choices.
