These four vehicles will collectively drive for over 20,000 kilometers of transportation distance per month, resulting in an estimated annual reduction of over 300 tonnes of carbon emissions. This initiative represents another significant step by DHL towards reducing its transportation carbon footprint and providing sustainable logistics solutions.

The successful deployment of the electric vehicles is made possible with the strong support from WorldEx Supply Chain Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and Ruiyi Logistics Limited. As strategic partners of DHL in China, these two companies share the same vision for green logistics and will be responsible for the last-mile collection and delivery of goods.

DPDHL Group has been committed to investing €7 billion by 2030 to achieve clean operations. By 2030, the company aims to reduce its carbon emissions to below 29 million tonnes, in line with the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This includes increasing the use of sustainable fuels in air and ocean transportation, as well as electrifying 60% of the delivery vehicles for the last mile.
