CHJ Automotive begins to accept orders of Leading Ideal ONE, priced at RMB328,000
Shanghai (ZXZC)- The Leading Ideal ONE, a NEV brand operated by Chinese EV startup CHJ Automotive, announced on April 10 that its first model, the IDEAL ONE, will be priced at RMB328,000 after subsidy. Meanwhile, the automaker will start to accept orders of new cars on the same day.
The Leading Ideal ONE, positioned as a mid/full-sized SUV, measures 5,020mm long, 1,960mm wide and 1,760mm tall with a wheelbase spanning 2,935mm. The 5m-plus-long new model will offer two seating layouts--the 2-2-2 and the 2-3-2.
The stocky and decorous overall exterior design renders a status of composure and generosity. A LED light bar runs through the rounded rectangle-shaped intake grille and penetrates into the sleek headlights on both sides.
The Leading Ideal ONE's side profile is complemented with the straight roof, manly rear fender and large-sized rims. At the rear end, the sleek taillight cluster and silver engine shield manifest a sense of masculinity.
In front of the driver seat, there is a suite of display system that is composed of four screens in different sizes—12.3 inch, 16.2 inch, 12.3 inch and 10.1 inch, interacting with car-borne smart voice system. Besides, the vehicle comes standard with Level 2 advanced driver assistance system. The second-row NAPPA leather-wrapped seats are equipped with an armrest on each side and electric adjuster.
The Leading Ideal ONE will adopt the innovative range-extending solutions to technically solve the range anxiety for users. Based on an all-electric four-wheel drive EV platform, the new model sports CATL's 40.5kWh battery pack used in conjunction with range-extenders that could offer NEDC-rated range of over 800km and a combine range exceeding 1,000km under urban traffic conditions. The new car can be charged to 80% of its battery capacity in 30 minutes using the fast-charging mode.
Li Xiang, CEO and founder of CHJ Automotive, said on March 20 that the company has removed two Chinese characters from the vehicle's Chinese brand name for the purpose of lowering the cost, while English brand name remained unchanged. In addition, the shortened name will also facilitate the usage for users and media.
