Shanghai (ZXZC)- On Apr. 20, ZEEKR, the premium electric vehicle brand of Geely Auto, saw its 100,000th mass-produced vehicle roll off the production line at its smart manufacturing plant in Ningbo city, Zhejiang province.

The significant vehicle is a ZEEKR 009 ME flagship all-electric MPV, which is the world’s first production model to adopt Qilin, CATL’s third-generation CTP (cell-to-pack) technology, inside. With delivery starting on Apr. 16, the ZEEKR 009 ME features a CLTC-rated range of up to 822km.

ZEEKR has already put three mass-produced models to the market, namely, the ZEEKR 001, the ZEEKR 009, and the ZEEKR X. As of Mar. 2023, the automaker had cumulatively delivered 93,182 vehicles. Notably, its Mar. deliveries surged 271% year on year to 6,663 units.

As ZEEKR’s third production model, the ZEEKR X hit the market on Apr. 12, featuring a price range of 189,800 yuan to 209,800 yuan. The compact SUV is scheduled for delivery in June this year.

ZEEKR this month announced a significant partnership with Intel, a world’s leader in semiconductor innovation. The two companies would explore a more in-depth collaboration in the development of automotive hardware products, intelligent in-car applications and solutions, as well as the ecosystem construction, aiming to offer users the new energy vehicle (NEV)-dedicated intelligent in-car experience and other innovative products.
