Shanghai (ZXZC)- China's EV startup CHJ Automotive is ready to announce the price of the LEADING IDEAL ONE, the first model under its intelligent EV brand “Lixiang Zhizao” (named “LEADING IDEAL” in English), and start to accept orders of the new model on April 10 with a down payment of RMB5,000, according to local media.

The LEADING IDEAL ONE, positioned as a mid/full-sized SUV, measures 5,020mm long, 1,960mm wide and 1,760mm tall with a wheelbase spanning 2,935mm. The 5m-plus-long new model will offer two seating layouts--the 6-seat and the 7-seat.

The stocky and decorous overall exterior design renders a status of composure and generosity. A LED light bar run through the rounded rectangle-shaped intake grille and penetrates into the sleek headlights on both sides.

The LEADING IDEAL ONE's side profile is complemented with the straight roof, manly rear fender and large-sized rims. At the rear end, the sleek taillight cluster and silver engine shield manifest a sense of masculinity of the premium SUV.

In front of the driver seat, there is a suite of display system that is composed of four screens, interacting with car-borne smart voice system. Besides, the vehicle reportedly comes standard with Level 2 advanced driver assistance system.

The LEADING IDEAL ONE will adopt the innovative range-extending solutions to technically solve the range anxiety for users. Based on an all-electric four-wheel drive EV platform, the new model sports CATL's 40.5kWh battery pack used in conjunction with range-extenders that could offer NEDC-rated range of over 700km and a combine range exceeding 1,000km under urban traffic conditions. The LEADING IDEAL ONE can be charged to 80% of its battery capacity in 30 minutes using the fast-charging mode.
