Geely’s ZEEKR puts ZEEKR X compact SUV onto the market

Shanghai (ZXZC)- ZEEKR X, the third production model under Geely’s premium electric vehicle (EV) brand ZEEKR, hit the market on Apr. 12. Coming with three trim levels, it is priced from 189,800 yuan to 209,800 yuan.

Positioned as a compact SUV, the ZEEKR 001 measures 4,450mm long, 1,836mm wide, and 1,572 tall, with a wheelbase of 2,750mm.

The model comes with six exterior color solutions for consumers to choose from.

Riding on Geely's SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) BEV-dedicated platform, the ZEEKR X adopts a fire new design language on the exterior, with a closed-off grille paired with aerodynamic C-shaped kits on both sides, showcasing a strong sports vibe. The intelligent matrix LED transmissive headlights are hidden within the grille, revealing the unmistakable family style. The daytime running lights extend the body's double-edged lines backward, creating a more three-dimensional design.

The vehicle's side profile is full of muscularity essence, with front and rear fenders slighltly raised, exuding a strong sense of power. The ZEEKR X is devoid of door handles, and features frameless doors, frameless exterior rear-view mirror, and a hidden charging port cover.

At the rear, the ZEEKR X adopts the trendy through-type taillights with the ZEEKR brand logo located in the exact middle, making it highly recognizable.

The interior of the ZEEKR X is full of futuristic sense, with a minimalist design philosophy that fully showcases its technological atmosphere. The most prominent feature of the interior is the 14.6-inch console-mounted screen that can be controlled by hand gestures to slide from the driver’s position to the front passenger seat.

The ZEEKR X offers two power solutions. The RWD version is driven by an electric motor that churns out up to 200kW and features a CLTC-rated range of 560km thanks to a 66kWh battery pack. The AWD carries two electric motors capable of a combined output of 315kW, featuring a 512km of range under the CLTC test cycle.
