Black Sesame Technologies, Banma forge strategic partnership

On September 20, Black Sesame Technologies, a leader in automotive computing chips, and the Chinese intelligent connected vehicle solution provider Banma announced a strategic partnership at the 2024 Apsara Conference. This collaboration builds on their earlier work to develop a production-ready, single-chip cross-domain integration software solution. Utilizing Black Sesame’s Wudang® C1296 chip, the two companies have co-developed a foundational software architecture for smart driving, intelligent cockpit systems, and vehicle data exchange, based on Banma’s Hypervisor and virtualization platform. The new strategic partnership extends their cooperation, focusing on Black Sesame's Wudang C1200 chip family, with plans for further collaboration in the realm of intelligent cockpit operating systems. Both companies will also explore deeper synergies in areas like intelligent cockpit technology and large-scale AI model applications, positioning themselves at the forefront of the smart automotive revolution.
