Gotion High-Tech supplies 12,350 sets of power batteries to Geely’s Panda mini in Mar.
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Gotion High-Tech announced it supplied a total of 12,350 sets of power batteries to the Panda mini, a Geely-branded all-electric mini car model, in Mar. 2023, according to a post on the power battery maker’s WeChat account.
The Panda mini is a micro all-electric car model put onto the market by Geely Auto in February this year. It currently has two trim levels, which feature a range of 120km and 200km, respectively. Both of them are equipped with Gotion High-Tech’s LFP batteries. The battery installed onto the 200km-range version features high safety performance, long service life, and supports over 1,500 times of fast charging. At the room temperature, it only takes half an hour to charge from 30% to 80% of the battery’s capacity, fully meeting the commuting needs of urban areas.

Gotion High-Tech began supplying batteries to the Panda mini in October 2022. As of Mar. 2023, it has delivered nearly 30,000 sets of batteries to Geely in succession.
According to data by the China Passenger Car Association, the monthly sales of the Panda mini in February reached 6,661 units, making it a dark horse in China's new energy vehicle market. With the release of production capacity and the increase in sales, Gotion High-Tech expects to supply over 120,000 sets of batteries to the Panda mini through this year.
