BYD-backed DENZA, DEVIALET jointly introduce DENZA N7 SUV

Shanghai (ZXZC)- DENZA, the premium auto brand majority-owned by BYD, on March 22 launched its N7 SUV in the partnership with DEVIALET. The model is the world’s first production model to use the French audio technology company’s acoustic system.

Featuring DEVIALET's patented technologies and a tailored acoustical architecture, the DENZA N7, will deliver unrivalled sound quality and true luxury audio for a state-of-the-art driving experience, said the French company.

Thanks to DEVIALET’s woofers and patented Speaker Active Matching (SAM) technology, the acoustic system’s bass dips to 20Hz, creating a sensation that makes users feel the sound in their bones. 

DEVIALET’s system on the DENZA N7 encompasses 16 tailored high-fidelity internal speakers placed throughout the vehicle, which flank its passengers to deliver rich, detail round, and a wide soundstage.

Powered by the built-in Speed Dependent Volume Control (SDVC) technology, the sound adapts to the shift in internal volume when the driver accelerate. With built-in and custom modes, the sound can be tailored to passenger placement and the driver’s preferences.

Besides, by virtue of DEVIALET’s SPACE technology, passengers can enjoy a fully immersive listening experience through multiple speakers positioned as key spots overhead, along the side doors, and at base of the vehicle.

The DENZA N7 is built on the DENZA INCEPTION concept model and adopts the π-Motion aesthetic design philosophy. The automaker emphasizes that the roof of the DENZA N7 is designed at the 0.618:1 golden ratio, exhibiting a smooth and beautiful contour.
