The Li L6 is now Li Auto's main seller, with monthly deliveries exceeding 20,000 units in each of the last three months.

Li Auto today announced that it saw the delivery of the 100,000th Li L6, six days after the 100,000th unit of the model rolled off the production line.

The milestone comes five months after the official launch of the Li L6 and is the fastest of the new Chinese car-making brands to reach 100,000 units, the company said.

Li Auto launched the Li L6 SUV (sport utility vehicle) on April 18, and deliveries of the extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) began on April 24.

The five-seat SUV is Li Auto's least expensive model currently on sale and is available in Pro and Max trims with starting prices of RMB 249,800 ($35,220) and RMB 279,800, respectively.

Li Auto's other models include the more expensive EREV SUVs -- Li L7, Li L8, Li L9 -- and the Li Mega all-electric MPV (multi-purpose vehicle).

The Li L6 is currently Li Auto's main seller, with monthly deliveries of more than 20,000 units in each of the past three months, while the Li L7 has been delivered at just over 10,000 units in each of the past three months, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

In August, Li Auto delivered 48,122 vehicles, down 5.64 percent from 51,000 in July but up 37.83 percent from 34,914 a year ago.

The Li L6 delivered 24,897 units in August, contributing 51.74 percent of Li Auto monthly deliveries, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
