Spy Shots: facelifted Suzuki SX4 is getting Ready for the China car market
New spy shots from the facelifted Suzuki SX4 in China, it will debut on the Shanghai Auto Show later this month and it will be launched on the Chinese car market soon thereafter. The facelift includes an all-new nose with new lights, a new grille and a new bumper. The back changes a bit less with only new lights and a new bumper too.
The current Suzuki SX4, made in China by the Chang’an-Suzuki joint venture. Price starts at 85.800 yuan and ends at 134.800 yuan. Engines: 109hp 1.6 or a 131hp 1.8, both mated to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic. The engines will continue in the facelifted SX4 and price will be about the same.
Is the new design an improvement? Not really. The outgoing car wasn’t very pretty with those gigantic front lights, but the new design is even worse. The front with its many straight lines seems out of touch with the rest of the car, which is still all very round.
New rear lights and new bumper.
Current.
“I am round, and I am square.”
Well, I guess we gotta get used to…
