New spy shots of the new Dongfeng-Liuzhou V20, a Cadillac SRX clone from China. We met the vehicle for the first time in May last year. After that I became very silent and we almost thought Dongfeng-Liuzhou had abandoned the project. But they haven’t, the Chinese SRX is still alive…

The real Cadillac SRX. Imported into China, price starts at 429.800 yuan, or almost 69.000 USD. The smallest engine is a 3.0 V6 with 271hp.

The Dongfeng-Liuzhou V20 will be much cheaper, price is expected to start around 80.000 yuan, or 12.800 USD. Power will come from a locally made Mitsubishi 2.0, an old engine that poops out 120hp. Size: 4620/1885mm/1830mm, wheelbase is 2720mm. The V20 will be launched on the Chinese car market later this year.

Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Company is a subsidiary  of the Dongfeng Motor Corporation, making cheap SUV’s, MPV’s, pickup trucks and small commercial vehicles.

Not too much like the Caddy at the back. Rear lights rather original.
