Shanghai (ZXZC)- On Dec. 21, Zhejiang Geely Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group (“Farizon Auto”), the new energy commercial vehicle (NECV) arm of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group ("Geely Holding"), inked a strategic cooperation agreement with Dishangtie Car Rental Shenzhen Co. Ltd. ("DST") to supply the latter its NECVs.

Under the agreement, the two parties will jointly promote 10,000 Farizon-branded NECVs in 2023, and put the vehicles into application.

Besides, the duo will explore in-depth cooperation on the level of capital.

Farizon Auto said it is sticking to two major technical routes, namely, the urban CVs driven by all-electric or range-extended power system, and the highway-dedicated CVs powered by liquid hydrogen or full-electric system available for EV charging and battery swapping technologies. Its product lineup covers various CV types, such as heavy-duty trucks, light-duty trucks, mini trucks, and light commercial vehicles.

DST is working on asset operation and service provisions including car rental, EV charging, energy storage, car maintenance, etc. As of Sept. 2022, the company had so far put over 65,000 all-electric logistics vehicles into actual operation across China with its service network covering more than 200 cities, and embracing over 400 repair and maintenance outlets.
