FAW-VW launches all-new Audi A6L into market, priced from RMB417,800
Shanghai (ZXZC)- Audi unveiled the new Audi A6 sedan at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show. On January 15, the all-new Audi A6L developed by FAW-Volkswagen's Audi brand officially hit China's market. Prices for a total of 12 variants range between RMB417,800 and RMB666,800.
Boasting several spiffy and angular character lines, the new model features Audi's signature hexagonal grille decorated with chrome trims, which is flanked by newly-designed headlights, rendering an aggressive front fascia. Daytime running lights integrated into the headlight look quite exquisite. The powerful and sporty essence is also highlighted by the protruding lines on the hood and the air inlets flanking the bumper. Besides, two styles of bumper will be offered to consumers for their free choices.
With the harmonious side proportion coupled with flat sharp waistlines, the all-new Audi A6L looks rather slim. Chrome trims can also be noticed around side windows. Moving to the rear end, the ducktail design typically used for coupe elevates the sense of sports. A sliver trim piercing into taillights on both sides is able to horizontally expand the visual breadth.
The all-new Audi A6L measures 5,038/5,050mm long, 1,886mm wide and 1,475mm tall with a wheelbase that spans 3,024mm, 12cm longer than that of the existing model.
Featuring a sporty interior, the new model carries a newly-designed dual-display at the center console—the upper screen for multimedia entertainment and the lower one to control air conditioner, a 12.3-inch full liquid crystal dashboard, a one-piece air-conditioning vent (once again adorned with chrome trims) and a brand-new electronic gear lever.
Based on different variants, such optional facilities as panoramic sunroof, adaptive air suspension and three sizes of hubs will be offered to car owners.
The all-new Audi A6L is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine or a 3.0-litre turbocharged engine--the latter will be assisted by a 48-volt mild hybrid system, hooked up to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission.
