The Audi A1 China Limited Edition launched on the Chinese auto market, priced from 271.800 yuan to 311.800 yuan. The China Limited Edition (hallo Wouter!) is painted in a red-white-gold color scheme, “representing the colors of joy and good fortune in Chinese culture”, or so says Audi’s press release. Well, funky this machine sure is, if not a little bit mad, which is good.

The Audi A1 China Limited Edition is limited to 500 cars, it is based on the A1 Ego Plus with an S line sports package. Power comes from a 1.4 liter TSI engine, good for 120hp and 200nm. Top speed is 203 km/h in standard colors but we think it can do 500 with this speedy paint job.
