Currently, BYD's NEV footprints cover over 400 cities in more than 70 countries and regions. In the first half of 2022, BYD sold over 640,000 NEVs, representing a year-on-year hike of 300%.

The NEV manufacturer saw its 3 millionth NEV roll off the production line last week, the only Chinese local automaker so far hitting such milestone.

As a subsidiary of Hakam Family Group, a major automobile dealership group in Morocco, Auto Nejma has over 50 years of automotive business legacy, reputation, and expertise, according to BYD's press release. It is striving to be the most respectable mobility service solution provider in the Moroccan market.

In 2017, BYD and the Moroccan government signed a memorandum of understanding on the BYD-Morocco electric transport system, covering rail transit, electric vehicles, electric buses and trucks, battery assembly, and other businesses. The latest partnership will allow BYD to launch many NEPV models in the country to co-boost the transition towards electrification and intelligent, and carbon emissions reduction.
