According to the photos released by the MIIT, the new XPeng P7 retains the split-type headlights of the outgoing version, and it reserves a space at the front for installation of LiDAR units. The new product is likely to offer XPILOT 3.5, the latest version of XPeng's advanced driver-assistance system, as an optional configuration.

Regarding the interior, the new XPeng P7 adopts the same two-spoke steering wheel as that of the XPeng G9, which goes well with the minimalist theme. Its dashboard will utilize a new 3D UI (user interface) powered by the Xmart 4.0 in-car OS.

XPeng recorded monthly deliveries of 5,101 vehicles in Oct. 2022, consisting of 2,104 P7 sports sedans, 1,665 P5 family sedans, 709 G3i compact SUVs, and 623 G9 flagship SUVs.

According to the official data compiled by ZXZC, XPeng's Oct. sales plunged 49.68% and 39.76% from the previous year and the previous month, respectively.

For the first ten months of 2022, XPeng delivered a total of 103,654 vehicles, representing a 56% year-on-year hike.
