Spy Shots: facelifted Citroen C5 leaks out in China
Be careful where you print your brochures… Pictures from the facelifted Citroen C5 have leaked out and are all over the internet. A bit too early, the facelifted C5 will be launched on the Chinese car market in April, and debut is scheduled for the Shanghai Auto Show in that same month.
Biggest news learned from the brochure concern engines; the 163hp 1.6 turbo we heard about so often will not be available in the facelifted C5 anyway. The current 2.0, 2.3 and 3.0 V6 will all continue. Price for the facelifted Citroen C5 will range from 170.000 yuan to 290.000 yuan. The Citroen C5 is made in China by the Dongfeng-PSA joint venture.
Facelift makes the C5 look a lot fresher again. New headlights, new grille, new bumpers, new rear lights, and an updated interior:
Citroen goes touch screen. The C5 however was clearly not designed for a large screen in the center console, the screen sits much closer to the passenger than to the driver.
2.0, 2.3 & 3.0. The 1.6 is nowhere to be seen…
