The very first picture of the facelifted Zotye 5008 in China. It will be launched on the Chinese car market later this year under a new name: Zoye T200. Earlier on we heard that the new name would be used for the all-new successor for the 5008 which is expected for 2014. Apparently Zotye decided to start using the new name on the facelifted car.

The current Zoyte 5008. It is based on the Daihatsu Terios. How exactly Zotye got the blueprints for the Terios/5008 is still unclear. The likely got it from somebody at FAW where the Terios was made from 1999 until 2009 in a joint venture with Daihatsu. The 5008 is priced from 53.800 yuan to 74.800 yuan. Engines: 1.3 and 1.5, both Mitsubishi clones. Both engines will continue in the facelifted 5008/T200 and price will be about the same.
